Recess: All-Natural, Sparkling CBD Beverage

Recess CBD Drink
Written by Alexandra Hicks

If someone were to take all the top health trends of 2018 and combine them into a 12oz canned beverage, it may look something like Recess.

Recess is a sparkling beverage that’s similar to LaCroix but infused with… yup you guessed it, cannabidiol (CBD). Launched by a NYC-based company in October, it’s quickly becoming the new “trending” drink. Recess isn’t the first CBD drink, but it’s the first to combine many of the most popular wellness aspects of our time.

For example, it has CBD in it, which we all know is extremely in-demand right now. It also has only natural ingredients, added vitamins and adaptogens, with no added sugar. It’s available in three different flavors: Peach Ginger, Pom Hibiscus, and Blackberry Chai.

All the ingredients work together in harmony to create a drink that’s not only delicious, but something that also adds to your overall health. Recess makes use of different adaptogens – mainly ginseng, L-theanine, and Schisandra – to boost immunity, expand brain power, and reduce stress. The 10 mg of full-spectrum CBD oil in the drink helps to balance out the adaptogens and create a tranquil, yet focused state of mind.

“We canned a feeling,” says the slogan on each can. “Not tired, not wired, a sparkling water for balance and clarity to be the you you are on your best days.” Although it’s not cheap, most who have tried it would argue that the price, and 4 weeks wait, is well worth it. You’re looking at $30 for a six pack, $40 as an eight pack, or $4.50 each if you can’t decide on only one flavor. But for that price you’ll be getting a delicious beverage with top-of-the-line ingredients delivered right to your front door.

The way things have been going, it was only a matter of time before CBD and wellness drinks joined forces. Have you ever tried Recess? What did you think about it and how did it make you feel? Drop a line in the comment section below, we’d love to hear from you!
