What Does CBD Feel Like? Really.

What does CBD feels like?
Written by Alexandra Hicks

Despite how popular CBD has become in recent years, there are still a lot of people who are completely unfamiliar with its effects.

Not only that, but some people are actually scared to take it. They don’t know if it will make them high, anxious, or in general how it will make them feel. Point blank, the fact that it comes from cannabis makes them nervous. So let’s get right to the point and clear up a few things about how does CBD feels like.

Does CBD feels like “High”?

This is a common question I’ve encountered from people who are new to the CBD game; “how exactly does it make you feel?” Whether you’re taking it medicinally or recreationally, via supplements, smokables, edibles, etc., there are some general similarities in terms of effects.

CBD can help you relax without overdoing it

Plainly put, CBD is noticeable but mild. You won’t feel extra happy, giddy, confused, or any of the feelings you might experience when using products high in THC. You will, however, notice an absence of anxiety, less physical pain, and an overall feeling of calmness.

Depending on how much you use, it could also regulate your sleep. For example, higher doses will help you sleep better while lower doses will make you feel more alert. But not that “I just drank 3 bottle of 5 hour energy”, gittery-kind of alertness. Once again, it’s mild but you’ll definitely notice that you can focus better. Same with the higher doses, you’ll sleep better won’t feel sedated.

Take Away

So to summarize, you will NOT feel high or intoxicated in any way. All the effects are very subtle, yet truly effective. It’s great for your health and you don’t have to worry about people noticing that you’re using something, like they might when/if you consume products with THC.
