Canadian-based Canopy Growth Corporation announced last week that their co-CEO Bruce Linton will be “stepping down” from his position with the company. Linton clarifies that he was let go. As he stated in a press release, “The Board decided today, and I agreed, my turn is over.

‘Five years’ to decriminalization of cannabis in U.K., say politicians

Many U.K. politicians who support cannabis believe it will be legal in the country within five years. When the House of Commons last voted on the issue in December 2018, there were 52 votes in favor. According to Party Member of Parliament (MP) Norman Lamb, “It could happen, and it could happen really quickly. I don’t believe it will take much for the main Parties to shift their position.”
